Bluecube were selected to develop a website accompanying "The Innocence Project," a new BBC NI Drama based on the real-life story of a group of Manchester University law students, hand-picked to try pro-bono work. The group undertake the forgotten cases - clients no one else wants, who have possibly been victims of miscarriages of justice. Their job is part investigator, part lawyer - and all before they are out of full-time education.
Bluecube designed a website to mirror the style and tone of the drama, while elaborating the nature of the characters and profiling the actors. The site also offers three games, all based around different aspects of the legal system. Finally, the site features the show's background from the "Real Innocence Project", backstage footage, interviews with the cast, a photo gallery and a comments page. The site went live mid-November 2006 to coincide with the first episode of the drama.
