Taking full advantage of RBS’s sponsorship of the 6 Nations rugby tournament, Bluecube developed a promotional online presence for personal loans from Ulster Bank, an RBS subsidiary, incorporating a competition to win tickets to see Ireland play Italy in Rome on St Patrick’s Day!
Bluecube created all-island, online advertising and pay per click campaigns leading to the microsites: ubdirectloans.ie/rugby (ROI) or ubdirectloans.co.uk (NI). Once there, users could register for the competition and learn more about Ulster Bank’s range of loans. To encourage stickiness around the microsites, we also produced a humorous phrase guide with Italian translations and an interactive game.
