The Brief

The National Trust campaign for 2008 was intended to further develop the relationship between The National Trust in Northern Ireland and its visitors, reinforcing the message that this is YOUR National Trust. We would develop a campaign that would build this feeling among the target audience and engage people with The National Trust.

The Solution

With our parent group AV Browne we created an online photographic competition that encouraged people to go and visit National Trust properties, take photos and upload them to the website which we created for the campaign. The site allows users to log on, submit photos, browse, rate and leave comments on other peoples photos. Monthly winners are chosen by an experienced judging panel, including landscape photographer Chris Hill, and receive a prize and the possibility that their photo may be used in The National Trust’s 2009 advertising campaign. The resulting visual imagery used in the 2009 campaign will really be made up of YOUR, OUR, MY National Trust.
